Every Girl needs a little (Faux) Fur!

Turtle neck~ Target, Jeans ~Marshal's, Boots~ Nine west.

This is a super easy way to add some (faux) fur into your life.
My DIY instructions for the fur scarf~   HERE
It was made from a fur throw.
On a Happy and Sad note.
I took my sweet H to the Airport yesterday so she could fly off to England for  five weeks.  This was  her first Big trip, and I am missing her terribly already.   I am going to try and keep very busy until she comes home safe and sound to me.( crying):(  I guess what I am trying to say is,
expect to see my DIY go into overload.
Rhinestones and leather will be flying.
I hope I can stay busy enough, to keep my mind off of her being gone.
Have a wonderful night!

Project Re-Style # 46, Faux Fur, Infinity Scarf.

Happy Monday to all of you!
I hope your Thanksgiving weekend was as fantastic as mine.
Anytime I can spend with my whole family, is time that  I enjoy and  cherish, the only thing I would love is that I could do it more often.
This weeks inspiration has come from the cooler weather that is about to approach us.  Granted, life in Florida is much milder than a lot of places, but it does get quite cold here and once in a while you need a little, warm, fuzzy scarf to keep your neck warm.
Inspiration

How is this a Re-Style, you ask?

The material that I am using on this project, was a Blanket.  I used part of this blanket  on another Re-Style, about a year ago HERE.

Tutorial
Things you need
1. Fur
2. Scissors
3. Safety Pin
4. Needle and thread to match
5. Sewing machine

Lay out your blanket or piece of fur.
Cut a piece 4 feet long by 1 foot wide.
The outer edge was already hemmed, so I just hemmed the one side with the sewing machine.
Place the right sides of the end pieces together,
Pin it with a large safety pin to hold it,
then  sew it,  using a blind stitch.

 oooo la laa:)
  Just like that,
you are all done!!
Something warm and classic for winter.

Charm Bracelet Re-Post.

I guest posted this on Jill's awesome blog
Creating my way to Success, in early October.
I was just thinking these would make great gifts for Christmas, especially if you find a charm for the person, that has a special meaning.
Personal for pennies.

I hope you are all having a wonderful Thanksgiving Weekend. I am!
Work is keeping me away from blogging for a few days but I promise I will be back soon with new, easy, DIY and some fun Re-Styles.

Anne
Tutorial

Things You Need

1. Cute buttons
2. Braiding cords
3. Charms
4.Scissors
5. Pliers
6.Glue
7 Jump Ring ( not shown)

Lets make some cute Gifts:)

Measure one piece of cording 56 inches long.
Fold that piece in half,

Thread one side of the cording through the button of your choice.
Bring the button to the middle( you should now have four pieces)
Tie a knot to secure the button
 Tie four  more knots

Tie your last knot just big enough to put your button through.
With pliers add a jump ring to your charm
then add that charm anywhere on your bracelet, between two of the cords.
I place a little glue on the knot at  the end, to ensure that it doesn't fray.
And that is all there is to it.
Super cute as gifts,
or to keep them for yourself and have your very own
Charm Party.

Leopard and Pearls

Jeans, shirt, shoes~ Target, Belt, pearls~Express, Owl bracelet~ I made, Green bracelet~ Michaels, Mirrored, Pink,  Sunnies~ Khols

I had a day off yesterday so I was running all my food errands for Thanksgiving. My outfit needed to be easy and dressy, and what better way to do that than with your favorite jeans, a silk top and a pop of leopard. Believe it or not I  bought this top at target for $29.00. ( 100% silk) This top is  one of my clothing staples, I wear it  when I don't want to think about what to wear.
Now all that is left to do is cleaning ~Blah~ and cooking.. :)
I cannot WAIT to see all my family.
Have a Wonderful day!

Project Re-Style #45 Pom Pom Scarf

Happy Monday Everyone.!
I hope that all of you in the States are enjoying the beginning of Thanksgiving week.  I, for one, have tons to do, but I am looking forward to this day off  to get everything in order. I have so much to be thankful for that I could never cover it all in one post.
Let's just say I am thankful for everything.!!

I did a really simple Re-Style project for this week,
A quick and easy Pom Pom scarf, made from a Black T Shirt,
( a mess up from another project.)
 Inspiration.
Blake Lively
in a Tory Burch Scarf.
 Make it.

 Tutorial
Things You Need
  1. Shirt
  2. Pom Pom trim
  3. Sewing machine or you could hand stitch it.
  4. Scissors

Lay your shirt down flat and cut it straight across.
Make the scarf as wide as you want.
I wanted two scarves, so I cut two strips.

 Number 1 Scarf~

Cut open one side of the shirt, to make one long Strip.
Stitch the pom pom trim around 3 sides  of the strip. I left the seam at the bottom of the shirt without pom poms.

Number 2 Scarf ~
I cut open the other scarf the same way.
this one, I only sewed  the pom pom trim on each end.

2  scarves~ many looks

Easy and inexpensive.
